INTRODUCTION

This one day course is designed by Bill Rogerson Safety Services Ltd to give delegates the knowledge and skills required to ensure the correct selection and use of ladders.

This course will cover the following elements:

  • Knowing when to use a ladder or stepladder
  • Duration of the work
  • Height of the work
  • Types of ladders
  • Knowing how to look after the ladder
  • Pre-use checks
  • Checking for defects
  • Taking sensible safety precautions
  • Correct ratio of the ladder

ASSESSMENT

Candidates will be required to complete a question paper at the end of the course.

On successful completion of the course delegates will be issued with a Bill Rogerson Safety Services Ltd Training Card and Certificate
